We are so excited to introduce our new Food Services Director, Travis Johnson! He comes to us from the small town of Happy, Texas and we are so HAPPY he has joined our Asbury Hills Camp & Retreat Center family!
The Johnson Family outside their new home at Asbury Hills.
Travis and his wife, Trina, have been married for 11 years. They have three children: Corben, Cannon, and Courtney. They are from Lebanon, Tennessee which is just 25 minutes east of Nashville. In Lebanon, Travis and Trina own and operated three restaurants, a food truck, and a catering company while working as the food service director for their local church. Why did Travis decide to go into the camping world? He says that he “loves seeing smiling faces enjoying great food and fellowshipping together around the table!”

How did Travis get into food service? We asked and he told!
“I started in food service at a young age through our church back at home and quickly realized it wasn’t just a job for me but a passion.”
Travis and his family are coming from a large camp in Happy, Texas where Travis served as the Food Services Director.
How did Travis and his family end up at Asbury Hills?
“The door opened up for me to join the Asbury Hills family and it instantly seemed like a great fit for me and my family. Being at Asbury brings us closer to family and the beautiful mountains, what more could one ask for?”

If Travis and Trina aren’t at camp, you can find them at church. Trina enjoys volunteering with the children ministries and leading small groups. Travis and his family also enjoy being in involved in the community events and supporting local restaurants.
