Every year our summer staffers gather to share a meal and gifts!
This year was no different.
Our summer staff love any opportunity to get together so our annual summer staff Christmas party was a hit! Our staff get to come up to camp one last time before the new year and share a meal. They also bring a small gift to contribute to the gift exchange. Just like other gift exchanges, the rules are the same. Each gift can be stolen or a new one can be opened. The best rule? You can open and use the gift right away!
Notice that the full time staff children love our summer staffers, too!
Merry Christmas from our Summer 2019 Staff!
Why give? Why give the gift of camp? You’ve probably seen this on our social media a time or two and we’d like a chance to explain why.
Giving the gift of camp is so much more than just a gift made around the holidays. Giving the gift of camp is ensuring that future campers will have the best possible camping experience at Asbury Hills.
When you give the gift of camp, you give a child an experience.
Your yearly gift to our annual fund is ultimately ensuring that every person who enters our gates is getting the best possible service as a guest at Asbury Hills. When you give to our Phase 1 Continuation fund, you are giving every camper and retreat guest from this point on the chance to enjoy new construction and facilities at Asbury Hills.
When you give the gift of camp, you give a retreat guest the ultimate escape from reality.
Not only does our ministry impact our campers and retreat guests, it also makes a huge impact on our summer and seasonal staffers. We are so blessed to be able to hire (and are still hiring) the best of the best to pour into our campers, facilitate activities, and host our retreat guests.
When you give the gift of camp, you give a summer staffer a life changing job.
You see? Giving the gift of camp isn’t only a holiday thing. Giving the gift of camp is a year round thing that truly impacts our ministry for the better.
We can’t say thank you enough to our camp family because without each and every person, our ministry would not be possible.
We thank you for your prayers and support.
We thank you for your time and gifts.
We thank you for your continued donations and pledges.
We thank you for believing in camping.
